Your health and Prince Edward County’s new hospital will be the topic of discussion over lunch later this month.
The Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation is continuing its Live Well in the County luncheon series for a second season.
The luncheons pair health promotion with a three-course meal while examining topics pertaining to the County hospital, Family Health Team and related wellness-inspired organizations.
November’s luncheon will take place Friday, Nov. 18 at Huff Estates Winery, 2274 County Road 1 in Bloomfield. Doors open at 11:30 with a buffet lunch prepared by Chef Sebastien Schwab, at noon.
Brad Harrington, vice-president and chief financial officer with Quinte Health Care will facilitate a discussion revolving around the capital process and current position in the building of a new hospital in Prince Edward County.
“With plans under way to build a new hospital in the County, we thought Brad would be able to have a candid conversation with our attendees about where we are in the planning stages, answer questions and reiterate the redevelopment partners (LHIN, QHC, Family Health Team, Auxiliary and Foundation) commitment to redeveloping PECMH,” said Penny Rolinski, executive dorector of the PECMH Foundation. “As well, our guests will not only enjoy fantastic food and great wine at one of Prince Edward County’s premier wineries, they will also have an opportunity get out and visit with other like-minded people and hear first-hand about the exciting future planned for PECMH.”
Each luncheon is $35 per person which includes taxes, gratuity and a tax receipt for $10. Wine pairings will be offered separately at an additional cost of $5 for three tastings.
Tickets are available until Nov. 11th through the PECMH Foundation office at 613-476-1008 ext. 4425 or online under the Events Page at www.pecmhf.ca or directly via https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/prince-edward-county-memorial-hospital-foundation/events/live-well-in-the-county-new-hospital-update/
