Feb. 28 – Odd & Obscure Pairings – from 2-4 pm
Everyone has heard the old “red meat, red wine” pairing, but what if you step out of the box a little? What would you pair with kettle chips or homemade French fries? Not only will you taste through some of these odd pairings but you will also learn why, and how these types of wine pairings work. Then next time you get creative in the kitchen you will know how to pair a wine with your ingredients and wow your company! $20 p.p. (50 seats)

Mar. 14 – The Oyster Experience – from 2-4 p.m.
Mmmm, the wonderful world of oysters & wine! Join us in a demonstration on how to shuck oysters, preparing delicious mignonettes and of course what wines to pair with these creations. Price includes six oysters per person plus a wine tasting to go along with each and everyone will take home the mignonette recipes shared during the class. $30 p.p. (40 seats)

Mar. 21 – The Nose Knows – from 2-4 p.m.
Have you ever over heard two people discussing a wine with words like rose water and grapefruit or even leather and all spice? Well it’s not always hogwash (although some of it may be), like a chef being able to pick spices and flavours out of a dish, winemakers & sommeliers train their nose to pick out certain aromas. Let our in-house sommelier, Brian Hanna, guide you through an exercise of smelling and  detecting certain aromas and then putting your nose to the test with various wines! $20 p.p. (50 seats)
