We offer:

Ballet“The basis for all forms of Dance” – Classical Ballet is the best starting point for any student of dance.

Baby BalletFor three-year-old beginners.

Irish - This “Riverdance” stele Irish is fun for all ages. (soft slipper only)

FlamencoClassical Spanish dance performed in character shoes. (ages 9 – adult)

JazzBroadway style dance. Classes age 4+. Lyrical Jazz ages 9+.

Professional Ballet ProgramIncludes Ballet, Cecchetti Exams, Variations, Pointe and Stretch & Strength.

Plus – Hip Hop and private lessons.

Studio Uniform: Black body suit, tights & dance slippers (appropriate to the discipline).
Hair (Girls): Ballet – in a bun, Jazz & Irish – ponytail
No Jewellery – Studs excepted
No dance skirts or shorts

Classes are affordable and great fun for the whole family!

Dance Events include – Galas, Workshops, Competitions, Seniors Homes, and end of year Theatre Performance (all events are optional)

A little about Miss Brenda

Brenda Cunningham-Moran, L.I.S.T.D., CECCHETTI – Teacher/Choreographer/Adjudicator

An Honours Graduate of The National Ballet School, Brenda has performed with The National Ballet of Canada and The Australian Ballet.

A Certified member of the Canadian branch of The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance, L.I.S.T.D. Cecchetti, Brenda has taught dance in Huntsville for the past twenty Three years and in 2000, performed in The National Ballet School’s 40th Anniversary Celebration in Glenn Gilmour’s “The Gathering”.

Brenda is also Founder/Director of the Muskoka Ballet Scholarship Fund, Former Vice President Artistic of The Huntsville Festival of the Arts and the Ontario Representative of the Cecchetti Society of Canada. She was honoured to teach at the Cecchetti Society’s annual spring seminar at the National Ballet School in Toronto and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School and choreograph the first nine seasons of The Huntsville Festival of the Arts children’s symphony/dance productions.

Brenda’s students have been accepted into the full time professional dance/academic programs of the National and Quinte Ballet schools and The Royal Winnepeg Ballet and The Danny Grossman Dance Company. Her goal is to provide every student the individual attention and encouragement to attain self-confidence, excellent technique and an enduring love of music, dance and the arts. She is thrilled to be starting her third successful season in Picton.
