When-the-Ice-Breaks---PosterDora-nominated Toronto theatre company Down n’ Out Productions brings heritage alive with a new play – When The Ice Breaks – based on life in Upper Canada during the War of 1812.

Exploring the inner workings of an Upper Canadian household during the War of 1812, one domestic servant’s personal story of sacrifice and redemption comes to life in this intimately staged production written by Madeleine Donohue, featuring four professional performers and incorporating live early-Canadian folk music.

The production is 80 minutes long and is appropriate for audiences ages 10 and up.  Book your seat today as space is limited.
