PECI drama students to present Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet)

Prince Edward Collegiate Institute drama students will tell the story of Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet) beginning today.
The Canadian comedy by Ann-Marie MacDonald tells the story of Constance Ledbelly, an English lit professor from Queen’s who goes on a subconscious journey of self discovery, theorizing that Shakespeare’s tragedies were originally comedies.
Under the direction of teacher Matthew Sheehan, the students will present a matinee for elementary students Wednesday, April 23, a PECI student matinee Thursday, April 24, then three evening performances Thursday-Saturday at 7pm in Gym B at PECI. Evening shows are $10. Tickets at the door.
