PECI drama students to present Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet)

PECI-Goodnight-Desdemona-1Prince Edward Collegiate Institute drama students will tell the story of Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet) beginning today.

The Canadian comedy by Ann-Marie MacDonald tells the story of Constance Ledbelly, an English lit professor from Queen’s who goes on a subconscious journey of self discovery, theorizing that Shakespeare’s tragedies were originally comedies.

Under the direction of teacher Matthew Sheehan, the students will present a matinee for elementary students Wednesday, April 23, a PECI student matinee Thursday, April 24, then three evening performances Thursday-Saturday at 7pm in Gym B at PECI.  Evening shows are $10. Tickets at the door.
