Mmmmmm Maple in the County

mapleSnow or no snow, with the first weekend of spring comes the Maple in the County festival. The 14th annual event salutes Prince Edward County’s maple syrup producers and invites visitors to learn about one of the oldest agricultural traditions in Canada.

Each year, visitors and locals enjoy a trip to the sugar bush to experience everything from lip-smacking pancake breakfasts, to sugar shack demonstrations, tours, maple kettle corn, wagon rides and more, throughout the County.

Maple in the County fans are encouraged to participate in a number of family-friendly activities.

Free public skating Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Sunday, March 29 from 1-3 p.m. at the Prince Edward Community Centre in Picton.
