The PECI Panthers Girls Hockey game today versus ENSS in Brighton is to be rescheduled due to freezing rain.

The team was hungry for a win after the holiday break, beating the Nicholson Crusaders 14-0 last week.
The game started out strong for the Panthers with Brooke Jackson scoring the first goal within a couple minutes of the period. A few minutes later, Sidney Davies scored the second and last goal of the first period.

The second period was a highlight for the Panthers with nine of the 14 goals scored in that period. Panther scorers were Celina Fox, Chloe Marshall, Kendra Marion, Kim Pothier, Abby Terpstra, Tynika Williams, Jackson and Maddy Young with two goals.

The third period was cut short due to time constraints but the Panthers were able to score three more goals. Jackson scored her third goal of the game, while Marion and Davies scored their second. Special recognition goes to Sarah Juby who got three assists and Bella Cole, who got two assists.

The team will be on a break for exams.
