BONNIE LORRAINE GRANGER – February 12 th, 1943 – December 12th , 2010 Bonnie Lorraine Granger, of Wellington, passed away after a brief battle with cancer. Dear wife of Fred Granger. Loving mother of daughter, Tracey Snow and son, David Granger. She will be missed by her 5 grandchildren. Bonnie was a life-long nurse who loved gardening and art. RODNEY CECIL ANDERSON – Peacefully in Picton, husband of the late Margaret, father of Brian (Arlene) of Vancouver and the late Jim (Wendy) of Picton, grandfather of Jessica, Brent, Natalie and Rachel, brother of the late Ed (Aida), Les (Helen), the late Dorothy (Ken) Brown and Pat (Charlie) Tomlin, brother-in-law of Donald (Betty) Southwick, Lorraine Southwick and Dorothy (Joe) Babiak, and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Born in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario on October 4, 1919 and raised in Nipissing Junction, as a young man, Rod rode the rails and worked in mines and construction camps across Northern Ontario.   He enlisted in the Canadian Army in 1939 and was radio operator in the R.C.H.A. First Canadian Division in Sicily, Italy, Holland and Germany until 1945. Rod enjoyed working with his hands and built a cottage in Lake Simcoe, a house in Scarborough and his dream home on Lake Ontario in Wellington.   He was an avid reader of history, a gardener and grower of apples. A family memorial will be held at a later date. Rod’s family wishes to thank the staff at Hallowell House for their compassion and excellent care. JAMES (JIM) ROBERT ANDERSON – Suddenly on Wednesday, August 4, at age 56, after a long battle with mental illness.  High school sweetheart of Wendy and loving father of Natalie and Rachel.  Devoted son of Rod and the late Margaret, cherished brother of Brian (Arlene), and dear uncle of Jessie and Brent.  Sorrowfully missed and fondly remembered by his aunts Lorraine Southwick and Dorothy Babiak of Toronto, and his many cousins, in-laws, and friends.  Jim loved fresh air and exercise, which is why he enjoyed his job as a letter carrier with Canada Post for 28 years.  He also loved golf, especially the armchair variety, and barbecuing, medium rare.  Jim was a voracious reader, expert at Trivial Pursuit, talented photographer, and passionate about classic rock. LARRY PAUL BRUNDAGE – June 5, 1946 – June 29, 2010. Born in Toronto, Larry also attended schools in the  Cambridge and Kitchener areas.  He worked for the Ontario Motor League in Toronto and Vancouver,   IBM Canada Ltd. Toronto  and later he went into selling real estate for Home Life, Transworld and Remax in the Aurora and Newmarket areas prior to moving to Prince Edward County.   He worked with Remax in PEC for a brief period before semi retiring.  He was predeceased by his father Lawrence and his mother Dorothy (Clark) Brundage.    He is survived by his wife Sandy, his sons Michael, wife Melissa and 3 Grandsons Steven, Nicholas, and Alexander of Courtice and David of Montreal, as well  as stepson Gregory Dorosh and step granddaughter Danika Dorosh of Bradford.   He will be missed by his Brother and Sister-In-Law Brian and Liz Ringle of Wellington and niece Lindsay Ringle of Aurora as well as his cousin Murray and family and Aunt Jean of Cambridge . Larry and Sandy enjoyed winters playing darts at the Wellington Legion, golf in the summer  and Larry had been a member of the Wellington Lions organization for several years.  He loved the quieter life Prince Edward County allowed and often said he did not miss the rush of the traffic and lifestyle in Toronto.

Bernard Michael (Bernie) Gray – A unique soul has left us. Bernie passed away with family by his side on Friday May 14th , 2010, at age of 69, at the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital. ALEXANDER NEIL JEFFREY – Our ‘six million dollar man’ passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on May 1st, 2010, succumbing to multiple health issues. Neil will be forever loved and missed by his wife and best friend Anne (Clements) and by the son he adored, Craig (Julie). Neil is survived by his brother Don (Di), brothers-in-law Douglas (Bud) Beatty, Reg Beatty, their spouses and numerous nieces and nephews.
